Is this too expensive for email marketing software?
My boss spends over £300 a month on a subscription to an email marketing software that allows him to send a newsletter out to thousands of contacts at a time. I told this to someone who works in this kind of thing and he said that you can get the same thing for about £15 a month. I told my boss about this and he ignored my advice and when I mentioned it to somebody else in the office they said that he probably uses that software because the guy who runs it is his "friend".
Is my boss an idiot or what?
Is there a email marketing software that you don't have to pay monthly subscribtion fee for?
I am looking for an email marketing software which is an alternative to services such as Awaber, MailChimp, iContact, etc., all of which are monthly subscriptions. Is there a software which works for wordpress where you only pay one fee upfront?
How to Setup Cronjobs in my Webhosting?
I recently starts some email marketing campaigns. We choose a email marketing software named PHPKode Newsletter X. Everything is well but it’s Cronjobs Configuration.
It tells me this in their site,
"The setup processe of a cronjob depends on the hosting software you are using (Plesk, cPanel). Then add the commands bellow.
wget -O – -q -t 1 http://demo.phpnewsletter.org/newsletter_sendmail.php?key=hZwtPALP\&user_id=1"
I use a webhosting in HostGator, so anyone tell me how i can setup this cronjobs correctly?

Which email provider will allow me to do mass sending for my email marketing campaigns?
I have gathered some 10.000 emails/subscribers using PPC and other lead generation method. So now after i have built my email list Im ready to do some marketing and generate some profits. the question though is which email service will allow me to send mass emails without blocking or classifying them as spam? I’m still a newbie in this industry and don’t know which email service should I go for! I have purchased an in-house email marketing software (interspire email marketer) which will do the actual sending.but don’t know yet which email domain provider will allow me to do mass sending!!!
Please help me out with this provider and thanks in advance.
PS: the emails gathered are 100% real and from real people who have willingly opted in. so NO illegal or spam-my intentions are help for the simple reason that i have spent 1000′s of dollars on gathering them

What is the most flexible Email Marketing Service?
I’m looking for a very flexible Email Marketing Software/Service. Preferably a hosted solution, like GetResponse, or Aweber.
I have tried a lot of them, but none of them seem to fit my needs.
Here’s what i need:
1. Autoresponders (aka Follow-up Emails or Trigger Mails)
2. Ability to send an email immediately after subscription AND after profile update.
3. Ability to use custom fields in message body and subject (for personalization)
4. Ability to filter and segment my list based on custom fields. For example, I want to send a specific autoresponder e-mail to only subscribers who live in Texas. Or only to women over 35.
(Note: it’s ok if these requirements can only be achieved using API)
So far the closest to these needs have been:
1. Mailchimp – but it fails at requirement #2 + it doesn’t allow affiliate marketing
2. EmailBrain (or GraphicMail) – fails at #4
3. StreamSend – fails at #2

I run a small catering business in Orlando. I have a huge list of email for potential clients, which i purchased from trusted source. I am looking for some cost effective email marketing software to manage my email campaign.

I need an email marketing software package that will do its thing i.e. set up a list of emails and what emails to send but actually send them through through outlook 07
i need it sent through outlook becase i have an access database set up that imports replies from the emails sent through out look directly in to the database
this access database is then uploaded to an sql database
so i need what i said above or a email marketing program than can export all replies to an excel sheet or something that i can then upload to sql
